<hppavilion1> I am of the firm opinion that s/// notation (a) only applies to the previous message- ^s must be used to remedy earlier messages (b) must be well-formed; if you make an error, it won't parse (c) must be applied literally- if they don't use /i, for example, it won't apply to mismatched case (d) will carry any errors they make- if it matches two parts of the message, it'll only fix the first, even if the second is clearly the goal (and finally, e) literally fixes the error- ignore any content of an s'd-away message
